George & Martha Display
The George & Martha Display is a true statement piece designed to be a central part of your patriotic home display. Features include arching striped bunting, George’s hatchet, and Martha’s handheld blossom. Designed and hand-finished by Tish Bachleda.
Did you know George’s act of chopping a cherry tree with an axe is only a myth? There’s is little historical evidence noting George’s relationship with his father (who died when George was only 11 years old). The myth portrays young George as having confessed honestly to his father about damaging a cherry tree with his hatchet. A story that upholds the virtues of George and his position as a great American role model.
